Madonna of The Book Christmas Card

A James Anthony Collection original, Madonna of The Book is a painting by the Italian Renaissance master Sandro Botticelli and the inspiration for the third in our series of Christmas card.

James designed this card based on his childhood memories of the cards his family gave and received during the Christmas Season.

This traditional Christmas Card has the biblical passage on the inside left from Luke 1:26-38, "The angel Gabriel said unto her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favour with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.'"

The inside right has the following Christmas greeting, "The Magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest of gifts are family and friends - Wishing you the Merriest of Christmases
